As of January 1, 2018, the Vega project has moved from its previous institutional home of West Virginia University to Wayne State University in the innovative and delightful city of Detroit, Michigan!
Cheryl Ball, the project director for Vega, took a position as Director of the Digital Publishing Collaborative, a new venture for Wayne State University Libraries, where she will lead open-access publishing efforts—through support of Vega—for Wayne State, the city of Detroit, the state of Michigan, and beyond! We are excited about Vega’s new institutional home and in partnering with multiple local and regional publishing organizations, including Wayne State University Press and the new Michigan Digital Publishing Collaborative (MDPx)—a tri-school effort between Wayne State, University of Michigan, and Michigan State University.
Look forward to more news, updates, and release info on Vega through 2018! It’s almost here!!!!
